Re-Awaken Your Being
by Shirley Knapp

Thought is the quickest healing process that there is....
Many of us have heard the term "cellular healing" and wonder exactly that means. This is a healing that can be transferred on all levels through the power of thought.
When we tune into a pure frequency of light and love there is nothing that can transform as quickly as thought. The human body is indeed very important to work on as we harbor the thought patterns that limit us through fear. When we eliminate these thoughts, we can and do create miracles! We are living in a time when this is vitally important as we are creating miracles not only in our daily lives but also on a global level.
Whatever is in the way of your limitlessness will be removed quickly.
You may first translate this to your individual life---that whatever is in the way of your true essence of joy will be released and removed quickly. If you do not need it, release it. If you do not hang onto it, it will move even quicker. Even if you attempt to hang onto it, it will still be released only it will take a bit more time.
It is the creative force of timelessness now that works within each of us in our cellular memories and patterns.
This timelessness is being released and brought to you in this form of new consciousness so that you will feel like nothing you know feels the same. That is the good news! When something is not working, you are making room for the new to reawaken your memories of who you truly are.
This is a time of great mystery and yet a time to remember that which was.
It is where the old and new meet and become another vibrational force. As the old is being released, there will not be the fear of the new; it will only be like taking a joyful adventure into the reawakening of you.
We are not separate and are all connected on all levels so when one lifts up, all of us lift up in consciousness.
You will laugh at fear....
For it will make you joyful that you have moved beyond that place in your life. It will be like saying goodbye to an old friend, one that no longer serves you. At times you may go back and visit your old friend of fear just to remind you that you no wish to stay in that old place of limited thinking. Fear will begin to feel smaller and smaller until you get the new perspective that it is only a thought form, which you have changed in your patterns and cellular memories.
Your ancient memories are now being re-encoded….
You will once again remember what was and is. Each of us will remember the new form of light. Remember the love; remember the passion for self and all life.
Remember the truth, and find yourself REAWAKENING YOUR BEING!

Expecting Nothing In Return
by Joseph J. Mazzella |
|

|
One of the best lessons that I have ever learned is to never look down on someone younger or smaller than you. They may just be your best teachers in this life. I know that I have learned more about living from babies, small children, puppies, and kittens than I would have believed possible. They have taught me so much about laughter, playing, fun, simple joy, and unconditional love. They have shown me again and again how to truly live and reminded me countless times of how to choose and share love expecting nothing in return.
When a baby smiles at you, a little child gives you a hug, a dog comes up to be petted, or a cat curls up on your lap they are offering you their love freely and joyfully. They are not waiting for something in return. If only all of us could learn or relearn to love the way that they do then what a paradise we could create in this world. Just think of love flowing from every heart and soul in this world expecting nothing in return. Just think of people saying, "I love you", sharing a smile, and offering a hug unconditionally. Just think of all of us giving each other joy with a puppy’s heart and a child’s soul. Just think of everyone of us loving each other the way that Spirit meant for us to.
Leo Buscaglia once said, "Take whatever people give you. If you appreciate it, hug it, kiss it, and take it in joy, but don’t expect it." It is only when we give love expecting nothing in return that we truly know what love is. It is only when we give love expecting nothing in return that we learn what it means to give and to live. It is only when we give love expecting nothing in return that we fully feel the love that Spirit has for us. May we always love then freely, joyously, and unconditionally. May we always follow the wisdom of our youngest and smallest teachers and give love to the world expecting nothing in return.

7 Surefire Steps To A Great Attitude
by Jason Gracia |
|

|
Attitude, as you have heard many times, is everything. That theory has been written in thousands of books, spoken to millions of people, and driven deep into your mind. Why? It's true.
Your attitude is your own personal filter for everything that happens to you, around you, or within you. What takes place in this world is not as important as how you view it.
You cannot choose what will happen to you. You cannot guarantee success and happiness for yourself. These things are out of your control. You can, however, choose how you feel about these things, about how you respond to these situations.
With a positive attitude, you will have the ability to be happier each and every day, make others around you happier, and live a good life. Below are seven tips that can help you keep your positive attitude going.
1. PUT THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE
When you find yourself getting fed up and your mood is taking a turn for the worse, take a step back and put things into perspective. Is the stress and frustration really worth it? When you look at the bigger picture, don't they seem a bit insignificant? They should, because nine times out of ten the daily problems we face are not really that important when we take a look at life as a whole.
You are alive, you have food, shelter, and freedom. These things are reason enough to smile when you wake in the morning.
2. HAVE SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO
You are expecting something in the mail. Each day you run to the mail box, filled with excitement and anticipation. And then, finally, it comes! People love to look forward to things. Some say that anticipation of something happening is better than when it actually happens.
We all have special events that are coming up. Holidays, birthdays, vacations, weekends, etc. Keeping these in mind will give you something to stay excited about
3. HELP OTHERS
There is no better way to forget about your worries than to help someone else with theirs. When you take the focus off of yourself, and give your attention to helping people, your attitude will change dramatically.
This tip not only includes helping friends and family, but also volunteering to help those in need whom you may not know. When you give of yourself, you'll receive tenfold in return.
4. TAKE A BREAK
There are times when the only solution is to get away from it all. If you know that you are in a negative mood, or have been in low spirits for some time, take a break. It could be just what you need.
Taking a break can vary from a short trip in your car, to a vacation in the Bahamas. A walk around the block, or a leisurely drive around the neighborhood can also work wonders for your mood and attitude.
5. TALK WITH A POSITIVE FRIEND
Talking things out can help you see the good in a bad situation. Call a friend and tell them about your problem, or just chat about any topic that comes to you. This is a very therapeutic and effective cure to a rough day.
6. REMEMBER THAT LIFE IS SHORT
One thing to always remember is that life is short. The worst thing would be to look back on your days wishing you could have been happier. Now is the time to take a good look at your attitude and make the necessary improvements.
Days, weeks, months, and years have a way of rushing by. Don't let them pass while you are in a negative mood about life. A positive attitude is worth the work, effort, and change that it takes to create it. Look back with no regrets, only happy memories.
7. REMIND YOURSELF THAT PEOPLE HAVE DONE MORE WITH LESS
A common cause for a poor attitude is the feeling that you are in a situation that is just too hard to deal with. Perhaps you don't have the job you want, or you may have a boss that drives you crazy. It may even be more serious than that. You may be too young, too old, too tired, too unlucky, etc.... People have done more with less.
Many people from all over the world have overcome obstacles, solved problems, and maintained a positive attitude through the most trying of times. If they can do it, so can you.
The power of a positive attitude is always within your reach. You simply have to extend your hand and grab it. Use the tips above to gain a great attitude, and to make your life happier, healthier, and wealthier.

Learn to Let Go and Grow Beyond Your Present Nature
by Guy Finley |
|

|
The only way to know for sure whether Life is inherently good or not is to never again let some pressure-filled fear convince us that without its guidance something bad will surely befall us. The truth is that once we see there is nothing good about fear, bad things stop happening to us.
Wake Up and Be Free of Fear and Worries
Before speaking to someone who intimidates me, I sometimes feel my throat start to close up and my voice choke up with so much tension that I find it hard to speak. I've got to get behind this fear, but I don't know how!
One way in which it's possible for us to outgrow the problems that we face is to not let those problems dictate our behavior to us. In this instance, whenever we run into areas that are challenging to us, a part of us will urge us to avoid those situations that make us feel uneasy. The answer is to go into the problem, not let the problem take us away from seeing its real cause. The wrong parts of us are always defining us according to their secret limitations. In this instance, anything that we fear, or that makes us behave oddly, will tell us that it's the person or the situation that is causing us the conflict. We must always remember that in all circumstances, our situation is ourselves, and that it is through direct contact with these parts -- and doing what they fear to do -- that will prove to us there was nothing real in the fear. All fear, all negative states, are conditional. This means that if we will stay the course, and be willing to remain aware of ourselves while these parts are threatening us, we will see them fade and disappear. This is the only freedom.
In spite of some of my spiritual progress along the path of self-liberation, whenever bad news arrives via telephone or mail, I still face fear. My heart pounds, I forget everything true, and find myself right back where I started from. What can I do?
Strangely enough, waking up to discover that we have forgotten what we thought we knew is the beginning of a new and higher kind of knowing. Let me explain: For many years, we meet thought with thought, events with right principles. But higher thoughts and right principles are still the same level as the attacking state. We must learn this the hard way, which gradually allows us to stop fighting, stop resisting these negative states. We are not trying to learn how to overpower darkness, we are learning to dwell inwardly where darkness can't touch us.
Anxiety seems to be my lot in life lately. I have a full plate of activities with children, a challenging job, and outside interests. I really feel like I balance these and keep my priorities straight. However, I am visited often by anxiety that seems to have been triggered by worry. Do you have any suggestions on how I can work through this?
Anxiety is one of the more difficult internal states to work with because of the way it works within us. The key is to begin realizing that the only influence any anxious state can have over us is in what it promises us we will have if we will do what the state tells us to do. One of the important aspects of your inner work is to begin learning deeply to recognize these individual states as they invade your psychic system, and in the beginning (if nothing else), to meet these states -- especially anxiety -- with what you know is true about the state instead of listening to what the state tells you is true about you. The Truth wants you to understand that anxious states live for themselves at your expense. The clearer this becomes to you, the freer you will be from giving yourself away to any anxious state.

Want to Feel Better? Go Stroke Your Cat!
by Larry Chamberlain |
|

|
Stroking your cat can be good for your health! It has long been known that pet ownership is good for you, we all need someone or something to love. It is also believed that stroking a pet, such as a cat, reduces stress levels and helps you to have a more positive perspective on life.
Stroking a cat, and listening to the sound of its contented purring, reduces tension and lowers your blood pressure it is believed.
A study was made of a group of people before and after they acquired a pet, the majority reported that their health had improved in as little as three to nine months. The people who owned dogs reported the greatest health benefits, because of the exercise involved in walking the dog, but cat owners too said that they felt a lot better even though they were not so active.
Many senior citizens homes have "residential" cats, and staff report these pets as being of great benefit to the residents, helping them feel more comfortable and to remind them of normal home life. The physical contact with the pet can be therapeutic, and the activity needed to care for the cat gives the residences a sense of purpose. The need for medications falls quite substantially in nursing homes where there is a cat available for stroking, and the act of stroking can help recovery after an illness.
Of course, it is not only seniors that benefit from the company of a cat. Whatever your age sharing your home with a cat means that you will need the services of your doctor less often and be less likely to feel isolated or lonely. Children also benefit from having pets in the home. Studies have shown that many children believe that their cat helps them with their relationships with other family members and friends.
The American Journal of Cardiology published an article in 1995 attesting that those of us that own pets are more likely to make a recovery from a heart attack than non pet owners. One of the explanations for this was that stroking a pet releases endorphins into the brain calming the nervous system, and therefore lowering your heart rate.
So, if you want to feel better, forget about your favorite tipple, forget about chocolate, simply go stroke your cat.
